Training on Snakebite management
Snakebite is an acute
life-threatening time-limiting medical emergency. It is a preventable public
health hazard often faced by the rural population in tropical and subtropical
countries with heavy rainfall and humid climate. Although the total
number of bites may be more than 5-6 lakhs only 30% are venomous bites.
Training to the clinical team regarding snakebite management will leads to
quality service delivery in the scope of snakebite management. This training
provides support to the clinical management team in developing knowledge in the
snakebite management existing protocols.
